Sinfonie - elegant Rococo porcelain at a fantastic price

The Sinfonie design from Holst Porzellan is a tribute to lovers of classic, sophisticated tableware who do not find themselves reflected in the trends of brightly coloured tableware and miss the radiant setting of a cream-white porcelain for fine dining.

The classically and stylishly laid table will never go out of fashion and will always grace a special occasion. Easter tables, wedding dinners, birthdays, anniversaries and many festive occasions set the scene for playfully, elaborately decorated and traditional tables and banquets. Luxury brands such as Meissen porcelain, Augarten, Herend and the many royal names have a price level that only a few can afford.

So in 2020, Holst Porzellan decided to design luxury porcelain that even those on a normal income can afford. The idea for Sinfonie was born. It should contain the noblest of all characteristics of royal porcelain, such as a festooned edge, which alone distinguishes high-quality porcelain from mass-produced goods. A delicate relief on the top side also testifies to an expensive and noble design, which is far more elaborate to produce than any smooth tableware. A pearl edge running around the festoon completes the transformation from simple crockery to porcelain art.

In designing the porcelain relief, we wanted to clearly set ourselves apart from the overloaded patterns of other rococo series, which cover up the grace of the food with their decorated rims. The plates and platters in this porcelain series have no offset rims, allowing the serving surface to flow harmoniously into the edge like the notes and sounds of a delicate symphony.

Since neither private nor commercial hosts want to wash the fine porcelain by hand, we have given the Sinfonie series the stability and body thickness that makes it dishwasher and microwave safe: more than a collection of cups and less than a catering plate. This porcelain series is also suitable for professional coffee shops and restaurants, stylish hotels, guest houses for business and politics, and organisers of weddings and receptions.

The mould construction and implementation of all requirements took more than two years, and the series has been available with the main items since January 2024. Additional sizes and additional items are planned for 2025. Sinfonie offers all the advantages of genuine feldspar porcelain at an extremely affordable price. Compared to the well-known luxury series, Sinfonie cannot be beaten.
