Line YoYo Hong Kong
The YoYo Hong Kong porcelain plates represent one of four shapes from the YoYo series, which includes the square shapes Canton and Osaka, as well as the rectangular shapes Hong Kong and Shanghai. The Hong Kong rectangular tops are distinguished by their compact, rectangular and space-saving design, making them an optimal choice for smaller tables. In comparison to the rectangular tops in the Shanghai shape, the Hong Kong tops feature straighter lines and a stepped, rising edge. Furthermore, the underside of the plates is flat and unglazed.
In addition to their use as classic plates, the rectangular plates are also suitable as serving or carving plates. Holst Porzellan offers five different sizes of serving and dinner plates. The stepped edge also makes the plates suitable for use as carrier plates in combination with other items in the collection. Like all items in the collection, the rectangular plates are made of sturdy hard porcelain and are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
